Even though I've been a Demo for a couple of years, I hadn't participated in any card swaps. It was the fear that I wasn't able to produce something "swap" worthy. Well, I decided that it was going to be different this year, so, I joined a swap...not one, but, EIGHT of them! How crazy is that??? But, I'm proud to say that I'm halfway done! Yay!
One of my swaps is a monthly swap that lasts for 6 months - absolutely the nicest bunch of women that I have had the pleasure of getting to know! I have gotten some great ideas from the six of them and I'm really glad that I joined this swap.
For this month, I did this:
I did some heat embossing on the sentiment, which is something I hadn't done for awhile and am really happy with the results. If the sentiment looks different, it's because I omitted the bottom of it - the washi tape looking part - that way I could use The Banner Framelit Dies. The list of items used is at the bottom of this post.
I'll be posting pictures of my other swaps as I complete them and once I know that the swap hostess has received them.
